Simon and Mouna and their lovely children were the perfect hosts! I felt like a treasured friend while my husband and I stayed at the Riad. The Riad is delightful, comfortable, beautiful, a visual treat. Mouna’s cooking was wonderful, their staff great. The highlight was a shared musical experience that my husband took part in. Or maybe it was playing in the street with their kids. Or maybe it was a chance meeting with the British ambassador and his wife. Or maybe it was sitting on the terrace hearing the call to prayer. Or maybe it was just kidding around with Simon. I don’t know exactly what the specific highlight was, because it was all wonderful. Definitely the warmest, most fun place we stayed in all of Morocco!

It was my birthday treat and this riad was the perfect setting for me to play at being a sultana for the night! We chose the family room, it is really beautiful and peaceful.
Mouna’s cooking was fabulous and authentic.
Selima’s birthday cake was such a surprise and just perfect (how did you know that I love chocolate?)
Simon and Solomon entertained us and brought us up to speed on life in Morocco. And of course I endorse all the other nice comments people have made.

Browsing through all the fantastic reviews i’m wondering what i can say that is not already said. The personal effort that Simon and Mouna put into this lovely place is fascinating, and i hope they never get bored of this. We were welcomed into the family for our short stay, celebrated our daughters’ birthdays together, enjoyed their wonderfully home cooked meal (best we had in Moroc), danced to their music, shared their personal food…. it goes on. They are just genuinely nice people and all that personal attention and TLC is what made the visit here a highlight of our trip.

We spent 4 wonderful nights in Mouna & Simon’s riad “it’s as you want”, in the 2 rooms on the terraces among the plants. The welcome from Mouna & Simon is extraordinary, without forgetting Nabil, such kindness and happiness! We had a great stay, and we will come back soon I hope! The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, the dinner at the riad succulent, and the breakfasts gargantuan! We also listened to the “concert” by Mouna & Simon who were really surprising. In short, only positive vibes, and we highly recommend this riad full of life and joy.
